Ofsted is a non-ministerial government department established under the Education (Schools) Act 1992 to take responsibility for the inspection of all schools in England, whether state or independent. Its role also includes the inspection of local education authorities, teacher training institutions, youth work, colleges and childcare.

We offer high quality before and after school care (from 8am and up until 6pm from the age of 3) as well as play schemes during some holiday periods.
‘Busy Bees’, our pre-school group, offers full and part time places for nursery education. Both are OFSTED registered providers and received the highest grade possible in their latest inspections.
English, Mathematics and Science receive great emphasis at Brookside and high standards are maintained. The curriculum is broadened and enriched by a wide selection of further activities. Music and sport are particular strengths, supported by an extensive range of clubs. |
