About the School



Brookside school is situated in the village of High Lane, on a superb 3 acre site overlooking Lyme Park. Our building is modern, comfortable and ideally suited to deliver the curriculum of today. For example, the computer suite is networked to workstations in every classroom enabling ICT to be used in every subject. The varied grounds are an ideal learning resource and include a woodland area, fixed play equipment, a football pitch and quiet seating areas.

Crucial to our success is the partnership we encourage with families. Consultation and information evenings are regularly arranged and parents are always welcome to discuss their children's progress with teaching staff.
The Brookside Friends Group (our PTA) is friendly and very active, raising valuable funds for school and organising many enjoyable social events for our children and parents.
