• Dear Parents / Carers

• Please find attached the results collected from our recent parent / carers questionnaire. Thank you for your excellent response and the comments you made – they are very valuable for our continued development. It was tremendous to receive such positive feedback again. This reflects the hard work of all the Brookside staff, children, governors and families. My thanks to you for all your efforts.

• By chance, the circulation of our own questionnaire coincided with that of the Ofsted 2007 inspection questionnaire. The Inspector commented to me about the ‘overwhelming level of support’ for the school from the parent-carer group. Thank you for your positive affirmation.

• The results of the survey have informed school improvement work already undertaken as well as that planned for the near future. I have provided brief commentary for each question where relevant and also included a selection of some of the comments made.
