Brookside Primary School High Lane

Brookside Primary School has developed a reputation for providing an excellent education, helping each child to achieve his or her full potential. Every child is valued as an individual. Our skilled and experienced staff foster a happy and caring atmosphere within which children achieve exceptional results. We enjoy an excellent reputation within the community, and are proud of our very strong partnership with parents, who say how welcome they are made to feel.

Our Parent View survey (Dec 2011) shows that parents think highly of our school. We  invited parents (Q13)  to share the reasons why they chose to send their Children to Brookside -click here to view

Why parents choose Brookside

Small, caring school

Improving standards year on year

High quality, broad and balanced curriculum

Fully inclusive, resourced school

Stunning grounds and setting

Many extra curricular activities

Before and after school care facilities

Pre school group (full and part time places)

Experienced, skilled and enthusiastic staff

Brookside is one of only three mainstream primary schools in Stockport with inclusive resourced provision, this means we receive additional funding to provide extra teaching and support staff for nine children with Severe Learning Difficulties. This fully inclusive approach has tremendous benefits for every member of the school community in terms of understanding, achievement and confidence.

We strongly believe in the development of the ‘whole child’, and our vision for successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors, responsible citizens:

‘TOGETHER WE LEARN, TOGETHER WE ACHIEVE – EVERY CHILD CAN SUCCEED’
